What’s an idea, concept, or philosophy that will change the way I think?
Three great books come to mind after reading your question.
The first is Gorilla Mindset from Mike Cernovich.
It’s a book that helps you improve on all aspects of your life. Mental, Spiritual, Emotional and Physical. There are countless gems in this little 212 page book. I suggest you read it twice. The first time just to read the contents of the books. The second time, with a highlighter, pen and notepad. Because you will be taking notes and write anything that inspires you that very moment.
The second book is Choose Yourself by James Altucher. James describes his Daily Practice. Again, it focuses on the mental, spiritual, emotional and physical well-being of a person. To really change or choose yourself, you will need to feed all four aspects on a daily basis.
The last book is Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor E. Frankl. I dare you to read this book without crying or feeling some sort of empathy.
To summarize, the only way to change your own philosophy or concept, is to read many different books from various subjects. Take whatever you like from each book and morph into your own.
And always remember what Bruce Lee said
““Adapt what is useful, reject what is useless, and add what is specifically your own.” — Bruce Lee
